Content and Marketing Co-Ordinator - Auckland

 

We are looking for a skilled, driven, and imaginative individual to join the team at our Grey Lynn headquarters. This role offers an exciting chance to elevate your career within the fashion industry, collaborating with two renowned New Zealand designer brands and a sophisticated edit of international labels.

The successful applicant will be responsible for all social media and content creation including in-house collateral (editorials, photoshoots, campaigns), advertising (internal and external) and will be the main point of contact for all media, fashion editors, stylists and brand partners. Experience in graphic design and fashion is essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create, source and develop engaging and on-brand content for all social media channels
  • Promote and showcase the Helen Cherry and Workshop Denim brands alongside an exclusive edit of international designer labels within Workshop’s online and nationwide retail stores
  • Close liaison between our retail stores & head office, recognizing the importance of a seamless integration between bricks & mortar and online shopping experience
  • Monitor ad performance, sales data and customer behavior to enhance Direct to Customer engagement
  • Creatively and strategically generate both short and long-term marketing plans, budgets and goals

Key skills:

  • Proficient with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • A genuine knowledge, interest and background in fashion and design and fully cognizant of relevant international designer brands
  • A good working knowledge of Google Analytics & Ads, Meta Business Suite, SEO strategies, Planoly and Klaviyo or similar DTC email marketing experience
  • Well organized with a keen eye for detail and high level of personal presentation
  • The ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high level of computer competency
  • Dynamic, professional and self-motivated
  • Experience with Shopify and prior fashion retail experience would be advantageous

Group Accountant / Finance Manager (Fixed Term - Part-Time Maternity Cover) - Auckland

 

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work with two iconic New Zealand designer fashion brands and a sophisticated edit of international labels, showcased within our retail stores across New Zealand.  

We are seeking an experienced accountant to autonomously manage and supervise end-to-end, accounting and finance function and make a positive impact on our Grey Lynn business.

You must be an experienced all-rounder who is happy to 'roll up their sleeves' and do what it takes from an accounting and financial perspective. You will report directly to the Managing Director.

This is a maternity cover for 1 year with potential to turn permanent. The hours are around 24 – 30 hours per week. You will be supported by a part-time assistant accountant who handles transactional processes, including end-to-end accounts payables, receivables, bank reconciliations and payroll.

Key duties include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting, including balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Presentation of monthly management accounts and reporting to the Advisory Board.
  • Preparation of budgets, forecasts and analysis.
  • Oversee and supervise the transaction processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
  • Responsible for treasury management, including cash flow and foreign exchange hedging.
  • Responsible for risk management, including stock and insurances.
  • Responsible for statutory compliance, including GST, PAYE, FBT and assist on income tax.

 The successful applicant will preferably have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree;
  • CA/CPA Qualified.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
  • Experience with Xero and Smart Payroll;
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Previous experience in a fashion and/or retail environment.

Key imperative is achieving sales targets by motivating and supporting the existing team, delivering exceptional customer service and innovative and creative merchandising with daily responsibilities including online distribution, staff management, banking, stock control, etc.

We are seeking an experienced womenswear salesperson to join our Auckland team. 

An exciting opportunity to work with two iconic New Zealand designer brands alongside a sophisticated edit of international labels in a unique and refined retail environment.

Applicants will exhibit high levels of initiative, enthusiasm and personal integrity with proven sales ability.

The successful applicant will have extensive Women’s fashion retail sales experience and must be motivated, well-groomed and a confident communicator with a strong interest in fashion and design.

Approximately 3 to 4 shifts per week including one weekend day. 

Key responsibilities will be sales, merchandising, assistance with Online and general retail duties, stock control etc.
