Born in Germany to Iranian and German parents, Chemena was immersed in fashion from a young age, working in her family's clothing store. Drawn to customers trying on garments, she developed a fascination with why people loved something, or why they didn't, ultimately deciding she wanted to become a designer before she had finished high school.

Inspired by her "ultimate icon" Karl Lagerfeld, Chemena began her long tenure at Chloé with an internship under Phoebe Philo, before pursuing a Master of Arts in Fashion at Central Saint Martins studying under the legendary Professor Louise Wilson. Over the next two decades, Kamali honed her craft alongside Clare Wright Keller at Chloé and Anthony Vaccarello at Saint Laurent before her appointment as creative director at Chloé, "My heart has always been Chloé’s. It has been since I stepped through its doors more than 20 years ago."

Among the collection's highlights, is the reinterpreted Bracelet Bag from the early 2000’s. Drawing inspiration from a vintage aesthetic, this bag showcases Kamali’s skill in melding classic Chloé elements with modern design. The Bracelet Bag's distinctive round hardware, metallic accents, and feminine silhouette, make it an essential piece for Chloé enthusiasts.

In line with the adventurous mindset of the Chloé girls, The 99 Shoulder Bag is infused with a rider spirit and youthful cheekiness. Speaking to a newer generation fascinated with icons of the past like the paddington it-bag, the 99 features its recognisable covered lock reinvented with a new contemporary look.

The Chloé Iconic Crossbody Bag featuring Karl Lagerfeld's signature handwriting pays homage to the maisons legacy. Drawn from Chloé’s heritage, but reworked in a desirable and contemporary way, the crossbody bag speaks to the maisons lovers interested in a recognisable and versatile day to evening piece.
